Ohio Disability Vote Coalition

The Ohio Disability Vote Coalition (ODVC) is part of the The American Association of People with Disabilities’ REV UP! campaign to build the power of the disability vote through a national network of coalitions and organizations. ODVC is open for anyone to join, its mission is to:
- Advocate for Ohio election laws to reflect best practices in accessibility;
- Create educational opportunities for voters with disabilities to learn their rights;
- Educate the public and election officials on the needs of people with disabilities in elections.

Breaking Silences Advocacy Committee
The Breaking Silences Advocacy Committee works closely with many Ohio Olmstead Task Force (OOTF) members. This committee advocates for the rights of people with disabilities and has two subcommittees about accommodations and MyCare. Breaking Silences meets at different times during the month.

The Ohio Nursing Crisis Advocacy Committee is a grassroots community group that advocates around Ohio’s Home Care nursing crisis and the direct support crisis.

Disability and Aging Passenger Rail Coalition is a group that is advocating for increased passenger rail in Ohio and direct connections from Northwest Ohio to Columbus.
